Liza Snyder

Snyder has been born in Northampton, Massachusetts. The mother of her, who is a songwriter and singer and father, is a musician. He also is an instructor of theatre at Smith College. Johnny Green is a composer who has been awarded five Academy Awards. Betty Furness was an actress, consumer reporter as well as an Academy Award winner. Snyder trained in acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, New York City. The school was run by Sanford Meisner. Her career started with the first episodes of television dramas like The Trials of Rosie O'Neill as well as Murder, She Wrote. She landed her first major part as Molly Whelan, in 1993's ABC crime show Sirens. After the series was canceled and she starred alongside her in two television films made specifically for TV, and guest starred on Chicago Hope, and Pacific Blue. The actress made her big screen debut in a second character in the film Pay It Forward directed by Mimi Leder. Snyder made her debut on screen as Christine Hughes, a CBS sitcom Yes, Dear, later in the same year. It ended the show in. After Yes, Dear, Snyder was absent for five years. Snyder returned to television in 2011 and was a guest on a role on an episode of House as the patient that needed a lung donation.
