Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American actress and singer. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from the age of a child. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. She is now also taking individual acting classes. Bell was a character who did not have a credit on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club as well as the drama club. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon the completion of her studies. Bell left the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang However, the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. This meant that only her credit sequence exists. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
